Colossal Stupidity

Rush had an interesting caller today (2/5/13). He had just finished explaining all the dirty little secrets about O-care and the effect it was going to have on every last aspect of this nation’s economy and freedom. The lady was quite upset, and, on the verge of tears, explained how she and her husband would have to close their business and let their employees go because they wouldn’t be able to pay them and buy their insurance as well. She remarked, that here we were, with the whole country poised on the tilting deck of the Titanic, and Karl Rove was busily scurrying around trying to drum up support for his latest scheme: Destroying the TEA party conservatives in the GOP. Instead of uniting all Conservatives against their common enemy, Marxism, he was more interested in making sure no real Conservatives got elected to any office higher than dogcatcher.

He used to have an occasional good plan, and was the “Golden Boy” of the GOP for some time, but now, he’s just a destructive agitator has-been trying to sew discord in the only party that stands between freedom and tyranny.  The times are desperate, but he thinks this will be the “salvation” of the GOP.   His crackbrained plan is to defeat every TEA party (read: “Conservative”) candidate who makes it into the primaries.  If this is his idea of “protecting” the GOP, he’s finally lost what was left of his marbles. Sad to see. I used to have a lot of respect for him.
