Never Safer January 12, 2013

The gun “debate” that is currently being kept swirling and agitated by the propaganda corps is a perfect example of deliberate point-missing in order to deceive.

There are millions of well-meaning Americans who have been indoctrinated for the last thirty years or so to believe that firearms in the hands of civilians are the source of all of society’s ills; that the weapons alone cause the crimes committed across the country, and that banning, removing, and destroying them is the only way to keep citizens safe and free.

This is the narrative that is being put forth by leftists across the spectrum. I’m sure that there are even some well-meaning dupes in the propaganda corps who actually believe this as strongly as the duped audiences they instruct. The only problem is that WE KNOW it is a carefully crafted ruse constructed deliberately to hide the real motivation behind the removal of firearms from the hands of free individuals.

A despotic and tyrannical government always FEARS weapons in the hands of the people it seeks to subjugate. The Founders understood this, and were perceptive enough of the fallen state of human nature to add the Second Amendment to the Constitution to protect the people from the tyranny of such a despotic government. If nature abhors a vacuum, so too does tyranny, and it will rush in to insure its survival the instant it perceives the victims it seeks to subjugate are weakened.

The narratives of “safety” and “gun-free zones” are the whitewash applied to the real motives of government control, and the press and the administration are fools if they seriously believe that we will happily yield our rightful weapons to them for the sake of “safety.” We are never safer than when we are ARMED TO THE TEETH,and they know it. (So do we, and that is why we resist.)

Very well said. Its the crux of the whole discussion. Tyranny versus freedom. If you are dumb enough to give up your arms to the state, you deserve exactly what you get. Id say pick up a history book, but these low information voters can barely read. I guess they are just zombie bait.

The more I think about it, the more I realize the wisdom of the founders in adding it to the Constitution. They understood that there had to be a check on political power that was unassailable, and that hoping to be treated fairly and well by the government wasn’t really possible without some way to keep them from stepping over the line into tyranny.
