Do you find yourself using more “bad” words than you ever felt the need for before? Have you caught yourself cussing at the news/radio/tv? Do you mutter whenever you see an image of the incredibly smug visage of the current rodent? I’m ashamed to admit that I do.
Do you nod so hard your head almost falls off when you read things like this? Here, too, in other times, I would have blushed to have to admit that I found a sort of vindictive pleasure at news like this.
In my younger days, I was known to utter a discouraging word or two now and then, and even some scatalogical imprecations. But I literally cringed when the big momma, the “Queen Mother of cusswords” was rolled out. I couldn’t have brought myself to utter that word even under threat of pain. It bothered me when my husband used the word, and my sons, both military veterans would have bitten off their tongues before saying it in front of me.
Unfortunately, these days, as a white-haired old lady, I find it popping up in my own statements, and even hear it from other nice little old ladies. What has happened to us lately that has caused such a deterioration in the conversation?
I submit it’s the presence of a certain rodent in a place he has no business being, doing things that would land anyone else in Leavenworth for all of the foreseeable future, any sunshine received by such a tenant being brought in a bucket or piped in next to the water faucet.
In other words, it has occurred to me that just the occupation of this government in offices they have no right to is enough to exert the negative influence on propriety and courtesy that is necessary to cause otherwise well-spoken people to forget their restraints and express their anger and frustration aloud and in print.
I’m hoping that conditions will change sufficiently in the next year to cause a lot of this unexpected negatitvity to subside to its former levels in the discourse of everyday people’s conversations, and that we will once again be able to eavesdrop on conversations between little old ladies without having to worry about having our ears singed.

For years, we have witnessed a deliberate and concentrated effort to undermine the profitability of small businesses across the country. In a two-pronged assault, the leftists have not just tried to destroy small businesses who are profitable and growing, but they have used a weapon that also undermines and attempts to destroy any effective and popular dissent from the right, in the form of using “boycotts” of advertisers on shows like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck.
For all these years, the leftists behind these assaults exulted in their success. Every time they blackmailed an advertiser into dropping sponsorship of an effective voice on the right, they high-fived each other and went on to the next target. Then, two things happened: First, they messed with Rush Limbaugh, and second, they (accidentally) revealed that George Soros’ special toy, MMFA, was being run by a slimeball who had come up with a plan to destroy not just Rush, but Mark Levin, Sarah Palin, and Sean Hannity, among others.
Turns out, that when they attempted to aim their MMFA cannon at the Big Voice on the Right, he bent the cannon barrel around and right back at them, and they wound up shooting themselves. What they should have learned (but probably didn’t) from this is that Americans on the right have had ENOUGH. All the trumped-up little farce did was show the leftist media up for the hysterical shills and panting propagandists they really are. It made a lot of good people really angry at the tactics of the left in general, and MMFA in particular.
The so-called “boycott” of the sponsors of Rush’s radio show sort of fell over. And, the few sponsors who did sever business relations with Rush suddenly learned what a REAL boycott could do, and found their businesses floundering from lost revenues from Rush’s listeners, an audience of about 22 million people. At least one weak-kneed former sponsor actually begged to be taken back (and was refused).
The leftists should have learned from this. But something tells me they haven’t, and will be back to try it again. Unfortunately, their other targets (Palin, Hannity, and Levin) now know how the MMFA shocktroops operate, and will be ready for them. Fortunately for those of us on the right, we are ready for them, too.

I guess I’m just an old funddy-duddy, but I am about burned out on the Trayvon Martin thing. As you are no doubt aware, I read my newspapers online, starting with the headlines on Free Republic. Most days, it takes me several hours to skim through the three or four pages of headlines that accumulated overnight for me. It makes me too late to get in on the good discussions on a lot of them, but I do get them looked at, sometimes commented on, and passed on to others for their reading enjoyment. So, today, I started out to do my headline-reading, and the next thing I knew, I was finished. Well, that is really easily explained. I have made a quiet little vow to myself not to willingly open a headline dealing with that situation until more of the facts are in.
The closest anyone could come to the amount of “ink spilled” (pixels wasted?) over this story would have to be the trumped-up and phony outrage over Rush’s remarks regarding the MMFA plant in the press conference faked up to look like a committee hearing a couple of weeks ago. In any event, the monopolization of the headlines over this thing has reached saturation levels.
But I see a pattern here. The more the media bees buzz around the attractive flowers of moral and racial outrage, the less they have to worry about actually reporting that their adored dear leader has feet of clay and is a serial insulter, racist, narcissistic, doctrinaire, spittle-flinging marxist appeaser. Who wants to try to think of something “positive” to say about somebody like that?
And how do you avoid it? Well, that’s the easy part. You just trump up a new moral outrage of the day/week/month and start proclaiming that it’s all because of Rush Limbaugh/Sarah Palin, and the rest will take care of itself, since 95% of U.S. media outlets are desperately in love with the won, while 90% of their audience believes every word they hear/watch/read coming from this bunch of shills, and don’t know any better. It sure doesn’t take much to distract some people.

obamacare says I will have to purchase healthcare insurance, pay a fine, or go to jail.
That’s just ducky. I’m going to be 70 next year. In view of the left’s opinion on healthcare for people in their 7th decade and above, the chances are very good I wouldn’t get any care at all, in the event I actually needed it. (So far, I’ve been able to avoid having to present myself to any doctor for anything more important than an X-ray, but one never knows. “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!” is more than just a metaphor.)
So, I’m still asking: Why will I be forced to buy insurance I not only can’t afford on a fixed income, but probably won’t even get to use?
America’s Fifth Column March 25, 2012

Who came up with the phrase, and what’s with the columns? Emilio Mola Vidal, a Nationalist general during the Spanish Civil War (1936-39), originally coined the term. As four of his army columns moved on Madrid, the general referred to his militant supporters within the capital as his “fifth column,” intent on undermining the loyalist government from within.
So the fifth column is a group of secret sympathizers or supporters of an enemy that engage in espionage or sabotage within defense lines or national borders. Recent conflicts have had their fifth columns: Iraqi insurgents in the Gulf War, Cuban rebels in the Bay of Pigs. Those columns didn’t fare quite as well.
— From Ask Yahoo.
The days of the “mainstream media” as reliable sources of news are now past, decisively. What we have in place these days is the new, “State-Run Media,” otherwise known as the “Ministry of Truth.” Every word you will hear, read, or see spoken in this new version of the Fourth Estate is prepackaged and cleared with the Propaganda Ministry (read: Leftist editors).
Every day, the more the poseur/usurper MEDDLES in the business of businesses (something he and his flying monkeys know absolutely NOTHING about — even I know more); every day, the depredations of this administration on the freedoms and rights of Americans come to light, and we see more evidence that not only are those talking bobbleheads on the news channels spouting the pro-administration party line, but sincerely believing every word they hear themselves utter. To them, it’s not just the “reading” of the news and a passing on of a block of information. To them, it’s a celebratory jig; a victory dance, as they see their adored idol not just ignore, but shred the laws of the Constitution. To them, their Utopia is within sight, and they are so thrilled they can’t contain their glee.
The Press, once known as the “Fourth Estate,” (after the royalty, the aristocracy, and the merchant class), had become the de facto definitive Fifth Column, in place and awaiting orders from Caesar.
WOOT, SARAH!! March 24, 2012

I’m taking the liberty of posting the following in its entirety in case you have trouble opening the link at Sarah Palin, because I really want you to read what she has written.
What Gov. Palin has expressed here is 100% real. Alaskan women are DIFFERENT, and the men up here love that difference. As an old Alaskan broad, I can tell you that the relationship between Alaskan men and Alaskan women has only gotten better. But enough about me. Hit it, Sarah!
Two fellow Alaskan women, Kirsten Powers and Penny Lee, penned a letter to the New York Times calling out misogynist attacks on women in public life.
They included this interesting aside: “Coincidentally we both hail from Alaska — where women are treated as equals — so perhaps our threshold for this kind of behavior is less than here in the Lower 48.”
As an Alaskan woman, I completely agree. Women up here do not tolerate the sexist stereotyping and behavior.
Up here, I’m constantly around commercial fishermen who curse like sailors, oil field workers with hardcore blue collar work ethics, tattooed-up soldiers serving on our military bases, long-haul truck drivers, motorheads, hunters and sport fishermen; and yet I don’t know anyone who talks about women the way these misogynists on TV do with their degrading comments, which includes comments mocking those with special needs.
I grew up hunting, fishing, playing sports, plowing snow, and chopping wood just like the guys. My parents raised my sisters and me to never consider gender an unequal element in anything. (In fact, today is my Dad’s birthday, and I want to give him a shout out because as a science teacher and track coach, he treated all of his students and athletes equally with respect and encouragement.) My daughters have participated on football, hockey, and wrestling teams just like the guys. We even dress like the guys at times (or they, like us) in warm camo hoodies and Carharts. It’s accepted up here because the environment is rugged and real, and our Alaskan elements are a great equalizer.
Women and men are equals in every way in the Last Frontier, and real men are not threatened by strong women. Real men don’t insult women with gross sexist comments meant to demean and objectify them.
These misogynists wouldn’t know how real men behave. I cannot imagine them working on my commercial fishing skiff in Bristol Bay, or driving our trucks to haul gear out to a remote cabin, or fueling up the float plane, or even having a tinge of grease under their fingernails which symbolizes the hard work needed to fuel the nation’s economy. And yet these are all things average Alaskan women do everyday. If these misogynists said one of their disgusting comments up here in person to an “Alaskan chick,” they would have to replace their veneered teeth.
I personally do not seek an apology from these narrow-minded men. With a full family and productive “to-do” list everyday, I just don’t have time for them. But I do feel sorry for them and for their obvious need to compensate for something that’s missing in their own lives, which compels them to belittle others in order to feel big. And I feel sorry for our culture for having to listen to them. America deserves better. I applaud Kirsten and Penny for taking a stand when too many feminists don’t speak up when the attacks are directed at their conservative sisters. And unfortunately too many men, like our president, will only defend certain women, not all women.

I wonder what would happen if someone were to ask the taking generation how they know when it’s current rodent giving them stuff, and when it comes from somebody else; or what do they do with the stuff that doesn’t come from him; and where did they get their stuff before he usurped the office. But it’s not worth the stupid looks that would be the only answers.
My muse-meter is pegging again. I suddenly had a “daydream” of them after TSHTF. Sort of all milling around like zombies in front of the check-cashing office waiting for somebody to come along and tell them when their next checks will come. You know, like the guys waiting outside the welfare office in the little video made by Nazy Pelosi’s daughter.
The democrats have a lot to be proud of these days, don’t they? Oh, well…if that is where they want their voting demographic to come from, I won’t stop them. And, it WILL be interesting when the recipients don’t receive, and the donors have all headed for the hills…Some will have guns, and will prey on the others, but that will be fruitless, because the others won’t have anything of value.

Had an interesting “muse” the other day. I was mulling over the racialist tactics of the current rodent and his clan of czars and advisors, and realized that he is deliberately attempting to put whites into a lower class of citizen. Now, if you have been paying attention at all, this is no surprise for you, and the deliberate attempts to destroy the white middle class continues without pause or letup.
But it occurred to me as I thought about it that all the dumbed down people of color in this country who are convinced we whites need to be taught a lesson believe they will be dancing and singing and shouting the glory when they have succeeded in subjugating all the whites in the country and kicking them out of their jobs. So far, I haven’t seen any evidence anywhere that they might be doing any real thinking about this, just pushing forward in throngs to take more and more, and to incidentally stop us from working, earning livings, or saving.
What they haven’t gotten to in their thought processes are the facts. And those are that once they have succeeded in achieving their goal regarding the working class, they will be killing the goose that lays their golden eggs, because those people don’t want us to lose our jobs so they can step in and fill them. They want us to lose our jobs so they can get even. (For what, I will never know, but I presume it’s slavery in the past.) When and if that realization ever dawns on them, they will become even angrier at us, as if we did all this on purpose. The “thinking” takers may realize that they have succeeded in doing the very thing they were prevented from doing when whites were working and they were relaxing, and that is guaranteeing their continued income from the government stashes.
Apparently, nobody has taken the time to inform them that somebody has to be paying in while they are busy taking out, and if they get their way, they will have simply fired us all and cut off their only source of income. One could project this thought experiment forward to the consequences of this mindset, but it really isn’t necessary. If they were to succeed, then perhaps we, as their new slaves, would have to become the ones being cared for by federal largesse, and THEY would have to become the working class, slaving to pay the taxes to go for our upkeep, medicines, and 50″ flat panel televisions.
Suffice it to say simply, “Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it.”
A Whale Of A Red Herring March 20, 2012

The biggest thing this recent blowup ISN’T ABOUT is “women’s healthcare.” Everybody jumps onto this sacred bandwagon, waving their banners high, and uluating at the top of their lungs about how desperately we all need to pay to help unmarried women have promiscuous sex.
But that’s the diversion. It’s a red herring the size of a blue whale. The REAL reason for this battle is to show American Christians who’s boss. It is nothing less than the current rodent’s latest move to force churches and church-owned businesses to do things their creeds, doctrines, and consciences command against in obedience to God’s expressed Will. The government is adamant in destroying the influence of Christianity over the lives of American believers. In a pathetic little parody of the Almighty, the current rodent is a jealous god, and refuses to allow any other deity, including the real God, to have any say about Americans’ private consciences.
Catholics and other real Christians in America are now being forced to pay for government-funded abortions in spite of their consciences and adamant beliefs, often without their knowledge. The only way they can avoid having to do this would be to quit their jobs or drop their employer-provided healthcare coverage. This is a regulation that carries the force of law; a pronouncement by the Secretary of HHS, and ratified by only the current rodent. It is also exactly what the c/r had in mind when he put it forward. He is forcing believers to choose between employment and conscience, because he is forcing EVERYBODY to have to sign up for government insurance. He and Sebelius have conspired against and usurped the authority of the voice of the people once again, and have deliberately spat into the faces of believing Christians all over the country.
But never let the press (are you STILL watching/listening/reading that pathetic %#@*&* ??) distract you from the real issue. The real issue is NOT who pays for women’s contraception and abortifacients. THE REAL ISSUE IS FORCING THE CHURCH TO KNUCKLE UNDER TO THE GOVERNMENT. Don’t let the dialogue make you lose your focus.
