A Tangled Web December 6, 2011

“Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive…”
With the collapse of Solyndra (and the sleazy, slimy financial double-dealing going on between them and the WH), the first thing that crossed my mind when I read this article by J.R. Dunn was my own earlier article, Watermelonism, which refers to a PREVIOUS article on the same subject. Note the date of the article, and see that this has been the biggest coverup since watergate. There have been several other “green company” scandals since Solyndra, too. Just more top-of-the-line product from the Slime Factory in the hallowed halls of government.

It’s not so much that there are green scandals in Washington, it’s that the permanent political class (Sarah Palin’s appropo title) goes to such lengths to cover up their sleaze. There is so much to despise about the current political situation in Washington. Now, I’m listening to Rush Limbaugh and he is tying the Chevy Volt (read: Government Motors) fires to the Corzine scandal and making it stick, making sense, and, if possible removing any doubt in my mind that the current administration and its entire cast of sleazy characters is a criminal enterprise (among other things). Two questions: 1) Is there any sleaze, any illegal act, any underhanded dealing to which this bunch will NOT stoop? 2) Just how stupid do they think we are??

The only corruptions they will not undertake are the ones they have not thought of yet. They have no moral inhibitions against any action, no matter how grossly immoral and despicable it is.

As to how stupid do they think we are, why they think we are as dumb as they are, and that is truly insulting. They are more ignorant than a box of rocks! For all their Ivy League degrees, they are the most foolish, most illogical, most uninformed people to ever go to DC. They are naive beyond belief, and arrogant on top of that. Many second graders possess more maturity and understanding of the world than the current resident. Ignorance personified!!!

Hammer dot nailhead, FatherD!

Yah, I’m tired of being condescended to by these arrogant (parts of nether anatomy), too. My sons are both asking me to explain a lot of this stuff, and I’m running out of words to use.

My mind is usually boggled by the depth of the perfidy and dedication to the Marxist ideal seen in this bunch. Some of them may be stupid, true, but they are stupid in addition to being cunning and devious. That always makes for an unpredictable enemy.

I have to tell my sons that it is impossible to underestimate the current administration in terms of the depths they are willing to plumb for more evil.

It is truly interesting that even though it has been obvious to the general population for some time that the United States is flat broke. And, it’s amazing that they will simply not stop committing us to more and more spending, as if the well was enchanted and would never run dry. How interesting that they can’t comprehend the equation “income = outlay = balance.”
