2011 In Review December 30, 2011

It’s never too early to begin a memoir, a retrospective, or a chronology of past events. Everybody loves to have their own version of the year’s events enjoyed and handed around. It goes with the blog hat I wear.
2011 started off only marginally better than it ended, with Fresno, CA dumping children’s books. There’s just something so…I dunno…subversive?…about doing that.
Along with the trashing of books, the trashing of American business and businessmen had just begun, even though some of us understood and realized that American business is the engine of freedom.
The print press, then as now, was taking it in the shorts. They are still losing subscribers and advertising revenue, although their online editions seem to be doing all right. Just think of all the printers and maintenance people who are going to be out of work when the last edition goes to bed on the last paper news or magazine. The electronic media are marginally better, but the most liberal stations are losing listeners/viewers, and their owners are scratching their heads. Somehow, they simply cannot comprehend the fact that they are trying to market an inferior product.
The shooting in Tucson of Democrat Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in January was blamed on Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, the TEA party, and everything/everybody on the right who had ever said, “Target.”
The year of 2011 could easily be called “The Year Of Sarah Palin,” because nobody, not even the faux fixture in the Oval Office could make headlines like she could. She is still the person the establishment loves most to hate, and she still lives rent-free in their heads, 24/7/365. No matter what she said or did, the media FRENZY was comical. They chased her motorhome up and down the eastern seaboard, then complained because they couldn’t keep her in sight all the time. Looks like they are still the same pathetic bunch of losers.
The nation is so profoundly, criminally, deeply fiscally indebted to its people and to the rest of the world that our great-great grandchildren will still be trying to pay the bill. We have cheated them in unconscionable ways, but if it is possible to shift the blame, it will have to go onto the backs of this current administration and its profligate ways, right down to the first lady’s vacations and exclusive line of wardrobe straight from “WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot Originals.”
2011 was the year the “O’s” gave a state dinner and invited pianist Lang Lang to play, which he did, beautifully. He also included a virulent anti-American anthem of Red China, in which American GI’s in Korea were referred to as “jackals.” And AMERICANS APPLAUDED. (Quick, change the subject, Sourdough!)
2011 was a year of incredible weather extremes. Droughts and wildfires in Texas and New Mexico, floods all along the Missouri and Mississippi rivers, tornadoes, blizzards, heat waves, torrential rains, volcanoes, and a gigantic earthquake off the coast of Japan that triggered a Tsunami that caused incredible destruction in the northern provinces. About 25,000 lives were lost, half of them presumed because remains have never been found. The nuclear power plant on the coast of the island was destroyed, and is still leaking radiation.
The governor of Wisconsin called the bluff of the SEIU and teachers’ unions in 2011, and won, in spite of the “occupation” of the capitol building by a bunch of lazy slackers masquerading as teachers who should have been at their jobs. Then Gov. Walker survived one recall attempt by those unions and democrat party hacks who tried to punish him for his actions, only to face another this winter. A so-called “judge” has allowed the signatures of Mickey Mouse and Adolph Hitler to be included in the petition for recall. But, so far, Wisconsin has survived, saved tons of money, and set an example for the rest of the country’s governors who are looking to cut the expenses of out-of-control perks to unions.
Lefties figured out some interesting uses for social networks this last year. They signed onto personal pages, got acquainted, then started posting their leftist propaganda. Interesting, but not really effective, if you ask me. Anybody with two brain cells to rub together would figure it out… wouldn’t they?
The administration refused yet again to pass a budget. By October, that meant almost a thousand days without a financial plan. Whatever their motives are, they have managed to do yet another thing to undermine and otherwise destroy the land that the rest of us, at least, still call “home.”
Donald Trump threw his hat into the ring (with a thread attached so he could pull it back out again), and produced his official birth certificate. This sent the ferrets in the basement of the white house into a frenzy of counterfeiting, photoshopping, and trumping up (scuse the pun…) to produce what they insanely thought we would accept as the corresponding document for the current resident. The document, which only existed in pixels and bytes, was a clownish attempt that might have passed had it been used as a stage prop, the audience was made up of five-year-olds, and the front row seating was at least fifty feet away…
The racism everyone on the right predicted would become a problem has, indeed come to pass, in many varied ways. No matter who gains the Republican nomination, even including Herman Cain, will be called a racist. Mr. Cain, a consummate businessman and very wise person (“authentically Black”), will be called racist because he is a Conservative. Sometimes, the left only has one piddly little card in their hand, and it is almost always the race card. The so-called “attorney general” has played the race card again in his desperate attempt to cover his nether parts in the Fast-And-Furious scandal.
The won capered and pirouetted like a giddy schoolboy and spiked the ball in the end zone, trumpeting to the skies that “I got Osama Bin Laden!” In spite of the fact that it was the wizardry and amazing teamwork of Navy Seal Team Six who carried out the mission successfully. (But, it wasn’t long before we were left to wonder why virtually the entire team was wiped out in a helicopter brought down in Afghanistan. Just wondering, like I say…)
The size of most 1-pound packages in the grocery stores shrank to around 12 ounces, while the prices went up. Grocery prices in general went up across the board because of high prices caused by 1) Ethanol eating up most of the corn-for-food crops; 2) Cropland burned or parched in the huge drought and wildfire disasters in the southwest; and 3) Other crops being flooded out or otherwise drowned by downpours and bad weather all across the “Breadbasket.” (see above)
The economy went even further down the slippery slope to destruction, the jobs picture looked bleaker than ever, and lie as they might, the bean counters in the government couldn’t make that 12% unemployment number look better than 9.5%, even though by the end of the year, they managed to massage the numbers into something that looked like 8.6% if one didn’t look too carefully at the 12% reality, and nothing improved anywhere. Then, the “green” companies that the big O insisted on giving huge loans to began to fail, one right after another. The only problem with this was the fact that those loans were OUR money, and we will never get that back, either.
The current resident took NASA, stopped the space program, and turned the agency into a “Muslim outreach.” Goodbye, U.S. space program.
So, obamacare is in place. Congress has passed a multi-TRILLION dollar debt ceiling. What they DIDN’T pass was a single budget cut, spending cut, or tax cut. What they also DIDN’T pass was a budget.
“Occupy Wall Street” (really, “Communist Crybaby Brats”) tried to do their imitation of the TEA party rallies, and all they managed to do was come off like the smelly, entitled bunch of witless commie sycophants, ultra-spoiled rich white kids, and fellow-travelers they are. Signs obviously mass-produced were mass produced. My favorite? “Jobs are a right! Destroy Capitalism!” (courtesy your friendly neighborhood World Workers Party, Inc., which signed each placard boldly at the bottom). Then they crapped on cop cars, raped one another, wigged out and stomped on tents, stole money and expensive electronics from each other, sold drugs, got pissed off at vagrants who stopped by for a free meal, refused to vacate when the owner of the property wanted to clean up all the poop, toilet paper, tampons, and other detritus of leftist civilization, then got interviewed by dumb reporters who didn’t seem to mind that just about everybody they interviewed was stoned out of their minds. (in place of links, I recommend you go to any news source and look for October 2011 news. It’s just about all they talked about.)
Besides Herman Cain’s “Smoker” advertisement. Or, his “sexual harrassment” of women who now refuse to come forward with their accusations. Instead of causing his campaign to go belly-up, it gave him an enormous boost, and the money began to flood into his campaign coffers. The attacks didn’t stop, and he stuck it out, and his numbers went even higher. For some strange reason, the only accusers who are going public are connected somehow to the National Restaurant Association.
This administration seems to think the rules don’t apply to IT. They seem to have the idea that the Constitution is there to give them jogging practice, because they are running out around it as often as they can.
Eric Holder (the presumed Attorney General) and Janet Napolitano (the presumed Secretary of Homeland Security) are “persons of interest” in the ongoing House investigation into the MONSTROUS AND ILLEGAL TRAVESTY of “Project Gunrunner” and “Fast And Furious.” Things are really out of control in a country where the attorney general and the HS secretary can collude in a plot to “walk” assault weapons into Mexico to the drug cartels. And, one of the plotters appears to be none other than the won. Old Chinese curse coming true here…
And, can you believe it? The official congressional poofter is finally saying he’s had enough. Yep, Rep. Bonnie Fwank (D-Mass) is calling it quits. Mighty sporting of him, after he has almost singlehandedly destroyed the economies of the entire world. Chances of him being prosecuted, punished, and made to pay? How does “zip,” “zero,” “nic,” “nada” sound?
Later in the year, Gov. Sarah Palin, who had not yet thrown her fur trooper’s hat into the ring, decided that diving into the cesspool of American election politics was not a good choice for the mother of young children, and turned her back on the possibility. Can she be convinced to actually give it a try? Don’t bet on it. She is exactly what this country needs in such a desperate time, but she has deferred to the needs of her family and won’t be signing on. There are a lot of people talking about writing her in, but I doubt if there would ever be enough people doing it to make much of a difference. She is wise enough to understand that a 3rd party run is definitely not in the best interests of the country, too. Of course, we still have a full year before we have to make our choices, but I think she is going to stay home and sit this one out. Don’t write her off, though. Those kids will be grown soon.
By the end of November, the OWServilles across the country had pretty much shriveled up to the last few diehard tools and stoners, who probably went home and slept in their own beds (if the number of empty tents found every night was any indication), anyway. The current resident spoke to them and told them they were the ones he’d been waiting for, and the reason he ran for the office. If I know my brainless useful idiots, they believed him, especially if he said it without looking at his teleprompter.
Herman Cain threw his hat out of the ring in early December, disappointing a lot of people who had sent in a LOT of money for his campaign. He was derailed by a serial stalker/spendthrift he had tried to help in the past. I hope Mr. Cain is planning to return all those donations…
The phantom pres waltzed off for a seventeen-day vacation (a $4 MILLION-plus trip to Hawaii for his version of Christmas). I guess it’s too much to hope for that he would decide to just stay there, and give the job to Joe Bltflzk, who could probably do just as good a job at dismantling the country.
The lefties have been having fun trying to trash Denver QB Tim Tebow, by making fun of him and his willingness to be open about his faith. Petty as can be, but who’s counting? And it also shows up their guilty consciences. I love it.
That loveable (not) curmudgeon, Christopher Hitchens, got to find out just who was right about what happens when we die. Fortunately, he had a long time to think about it, so, maybe, just maybe… In any event, I have a feeling that the only people who will miss him will be his family and those around him who shared his views. He was a God-hater of the first water, deranged in his hatred for anything that has to do with people of faith, he had a huge vocabulary, most of it splenetic, with which to dump on religious figures who couldn’t fight back because they were already dead. We don’t HAVE to repent before we die, but we DO have to die. No do-overs, no second chances, no “King’s X’es.” Whatever happens to him will be his choice. And, Kim Jong Il, Lord High Emperor and Grand Poobah of NoKo finally couldn’t outrun the grim reaper. His spoiled, petulant Caligu… er, son, Kim Jong Un, (he looks like a fat, spoiled baby) is now in the driver’s seat of the North Korean bus going over the cliff.
Mysterious explosions have been taking out military installations and facilities related to Iran’s ongoing quest for nuclear arms. They claimed some time ago that the “Stuxnet” virus (should have been Time’s “individual” of the year, instead of the “protestor”) had been expunged from their computers, but these explosions keep occurring. Sure makes a feller wonder…
Christmas came and went, and aside from some riots over some $350 Michael Jordan Nike shoes, was pretty conventional, except that a lot of the stores who had thought they were keeping up with things by changing “Christmas” to “Holidays” had to hurry and change it back because people shopped with their religion on their sleeves and patronized only the merchants who said, “Merry Christmas!”
Happy New Year, everybody! I sure hope 2012 is the year for real CHANGE in America.
It’s Time To Ignore The News December 26, 2011

If you haven’t already tuned out on the mass “news” media, it’s time to make the break complete. The mass media no longer serves any purpose for the citizens of this country, and exists solely to disperse propaganda for an administration that has been outside the law since it opened for business in January of 2009. Their entire reason for operating is to discourage you. They exist only to make you, the middle-class voter, feel overwhelmed, outnumbered, and to give you a sense of futility. They want you to yield to the agenda of the current resident, and they plan to achieve that submission by (they hope) convincing you that there is no use to resist what they perceive as the inevitability of their success.
The current resident has even gone so far as to admit that he is no longer interested in the votes of people who aren’t racially on his side. If this isn’t the most racist thing that has ever occurred in American politics, nothing is. From the beginning, this administration has existed to force non-minority Americans to submit to the left’s characterization of us as racists. Some of us recognized this intent early on, and even the Sourdough saw the plan. Racism will define this campaign, if the left has any say in the matter.
Hang onto your hats, and stand your ground. It’s just beginning.

The days in Alaska are at their shortest now, in the darkest part of winter. The sun rises at 10:30 a.m. and sets at 3:30 p.m. In a way, this illustrates our wait for the Holy Birth to come. We are waiting with longing, eager for the change that He will bring, for the joy that always seems to arrive just as we need it most.
May you be blessed this Christmas, and may the contemplation of these lovely images stir us all to a renewed desire to bless those around us with the real meaning of this holy time.
Is It Any Wonder? December 17, 2011

Search-and-destroy against Down’s babies
Women bragging about their abortions
Is it any wonder our country is going to HELL in a handbasket??
We as a nation have reached a point where we are going to have to make some fundamental spiritual changes, or we are going to reap the full measure of the consequences of our willingness to sacrifice our unborn children on the altar of Molech.
There was a time when the safest place for a child to be was in its mother’s womb, but that hasn’t been the case for the last forty years. Abortion on demand, for all nine months of pregnancy, up to and including the due date, is the law of the land. Babies aren’t even safe after they are born. If a doctor decides the infant has no life expectancy, “quality of life,” or worth in his eyes, it will be allowed to die or dispatched unceremoniously.
The Bible warns us repeatedly against killing children in their mothers’ wombs, as well as the idolatry of sacrificing living children to the god of blood and death. These aren’t just crimes; they are heinous crimes against the most innocent among us. Those we have been sworn to protect are now our favored targets, and there is ALWAYS, ALWAYS money involved.
To our shame, we have no excuse to offer for this monstrosity. We cannot cite even one good reason for butchering our babies before they are born.
We have become callous and unconcerned about the plight of these children. The lawmakers who have forced these murders on us are as guilty as the pratitioners of this evil. They had better enjoy any rewards they might be receiving for this advocacy, because they are not going to be very happy when they find out that hell is full of their kind. Time and again, they have demanded we continue to not just permit, but to actively recruit through advertisement, abortions across the country.
When we see the destruction of American freedoms, of our middle class, of our economy; when we see the consequences of immoral choices all around us, we can be sure that the judgment of the Creator is falling upon us. It is still not too late to turn back to Him. We can still make the decision to stop this slaughter now, before the country reaps the same consequences as Sodom and Gomorrah, destroyed as a consequence of their deliberate sinfulness.
America has always been known as a refuge. But here we are, within this very refuge, destroying the most innocent citizens of our nation; we are slaughtering our National Treasure — our posterity. The law protects murderers, rapists, and terrorists (has anybody wondered why we don’t use abortion methods to execute our death-row criminals, if they are so “humane?”). but nobody but the God-fearing pro-Life people of this country are willing to risk their lives to make an outcry against abortion. We fear our mortal and temporary governments more than we fear the Wrath of Almighty God, and we are reaping the consequences for that cowardice.
Is it any wonder we are watching the destruction of this country right before our very eyes? We are the generation that has brought this about, and we will be the generation to reap the whirlwind of our selfish sinfulness. The fact that God hasn’t struck us down before now is not proof that He doesn’t exist. It’s proof of His loving patience with us, His sinful, stubborn, and selfish children. But, I’m afraid that patience has grown thin of late. From the looks of things, it’s no more than we deserve.
The Best Comparison December 17, 2011
Posted by lizp4 in Uncategorized.add a comment
Lots of comparisons (?) between the OWSers and the TEA party these days, most of them, because they are “straining at gnats and passing camels” don’t hold up. There is no comparison. Where can you compare hundreds of thousands of average Americans gathering for uplifting, joyful agreement, leaving the venue cleaner than when they arrived to a bunch of spoiled entitlement brats who delight in the disgusting, attend to bodily functions in public, swear, rape, shoot up, leave filth, trash, and wreckage everywhere?
There simply is no comparison. Unless, of course, you are tempted to compare the OWSers to animals. But that wouldn’t be a fair comparison, either, since most animals, if given enough space, will keep their nests clean. If we are meant to be impressed by these little demonstrations, their organizers need to go back to the drawing boards. About the only thing impressive about these festering boils on the backsides of our major cities is their choice to keep their areas as disgusting and filthy as possible. If they aren’t doing this on purpose, it might be a lack of upbringing on the parts of their parents, but most of these people come from very wealthy backgrounds. Are they demonstrating because they can’t get work? No. These kinds of people go out of their way to avoid anything that even looks like “work.” They look for “jobs,” not “work.”
Nothing compares. Nothing. Well, maybe, if you consider that they are all on the same planet.
Obituary December 16, 2011

Christopher Hitchens is dead. I’ve written about him before here on the Sourdough, here, and here.
He was an irascible grouch with an incredible talent for the written word. His writings were eloquent and very literate, but he was a bitter, hate-filled man, who never missed an opportunity to dump his bile on anyone and anything having to do with God or Christianity.
I don’t know why, but I’ve been praying for him for several years now. A deathbed conversion is not unheard of, although I have a feeling that it didn’t go that way with Mr. Hitchens. Ironically, his brother is a devout Christian.
Well, he knows the truth now. May God have mercy on his soul.
Thinking It Through December 13, 2011

New news out there on the environmental front: (I mean, besides the fact that anthropogenic global warming has been proven to be a hoax, thanks to the second “dump” of incriminating emails.) The UN now asserts that women face the heaviest consequences from global warming, especially if they go about their daily chores in mountainous regions of the undeveloped world.
You have to ask yourself why this might be. It only took me a couple of seconds to think it through, and I came up with answers immediately, and they are these:
1) In using women of mountainous regions as their examples, the envirowhacko PTB are selecting a sample population that would create the most difficulty in proving or disproving their assumptions. Mountainous regions of undeveloped countries are notoriously hard to get to, difficult to navigate, extremely expensive to get to, and require large amounts of specialized gear for foreigners in order for them to just survive, let alone be anywhere near comfortable in rocky, high-altitude areas.
2) Women in these regions are easy targets for environmental propaganda because in most third world countries, they are the least educated part of the populations, and the easiest to lie to, do the majority of the chores involved with survival, and spend the most time finding and preparing food, keeping their families warm and clothed.
By choosing this demographic as their model, the envirowhackos virtually guarantee that nobody sane will be going into these areas to check out the factuality of the assertions, which is why the grouping was chosen in the first place. Never underestimate the cunning and underhandedness of the world’s environmental activists. They will do anything, say anything, assert the wildest lies (anthropogenic global warming, for instance) to keep the grant monies rolling in.
The problem now is getting the word out. How many mainstream news outlets have mentioned even a hint about the most recent dump of more than 5,300 emails? It included messages that incontrovertibly prove the collusion, conspiracy, and twisting of the data used to “prove” man-caused global warming (now called “climate change,” because they know their lies have caught up with them). For example, I had a dickens of a time even finding THIS much information on the emails. How about this, as well?? Heard a lot about this? Outside of Rush Limbaugh, I haven’t heard a soul mention it.
And here we sit, ready within the next month to allow ourselves to be FORCED to use curly lightbulbs for the sake of a proven worldwide hoax.
Finding The Meaning December 10, 2011

It must be getting close to Christmas, because once again, the Christ-haters are crawling out from under their rocks to attempt to slime the most obvious and beautiful reason to celebrate that Christians have. Buses sport signs oozing the spirit of the season; signs that say, “There is no god. There are no gods. Wake up.”
Time was, in my own memory, when you could ask virtually anyone on the street about the true meaning of Christmas, and the vast majority would reply, in some form, “It commemorates the birth on earth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.”
Today, sadly, that conversation would probably sound, with variations according to age, more like this:
“What’s the true meaning of Christmas?”
“Getting presents.” “Family get-togethers.” “Lots of cheer and friendliness.” “People being charitable and generous to the poor.” “A time when merchants hope to make enough money to pay their annual bills, and to reduce their inventory before the end of the year.”
Today’s “Christmas” is a celebration so far removed from the true definition and meaning of the term that one could truthfully state that we are discussing two entirely different holidays. It’s no wonder it’s referred to as just a “holiday,” or “the season.”
Although Christians have been persecuted for their beliefs for the last two thousand years, America was always considered a haven, and thousands of people came from other lands to be safe in their worship under the American flag. But Christianity is now on the very short list of “safe” scapegoats and objects of derision, hate, and bias. If there is one thing that stand-up comics love to do that they know will get a big laugh, it’s dump on Christians. Newspeople enhance the destruction of the season with their long, sentimentally point-missing reports on soup kitchens, charitable giving, crabby people suddenly doing something nice, and crooks who have attacks of conscience in the presence of Chris…er, holiday, decorations. Not one of these expressions of “holiday cheer” will even remotely refer to Bethlehem, in anyone’s wildest imaginations, unless it’s to comment on the bloodshed in the city streets there.
I asked myself yesterday how far back I would have to cast my memory to find a television program (situation comedy, season special, documentary) that showed the real Reason for the Season in a positive light. Unfortunately, I found I had to search back fifty years or so. In those days, bless them, Christmas programming regularly featured presentations of Biblical quotes, Nativity stories, religious carols, talk of “blessings,” “angels,” “manger,” and “Christ-child.” We could watch a television broadcast day that ended with the station wishing its viewers “Christmas blessings.” The video above is a Christmas episode from “Captain Gallant of the Foreign Legion.” It is presented in its entirety, to make sure the message at the end is received.
What do we get today? For movies, “Harold And Kumar Do Christmas,” “The Grinch,” or “Elf” (With anti-Christian Will Ferrell in the title role and irascible atheist Ed Asner as Santa). We get “Christmas” television series programs like SyFy’s offerings from “Eureka,” in which the town is turned into cartoons by a child’s toy. Even the old Christmas standby Rankin-Bass emphasized Santa, presents, elves, and reindeer (Especially Rudolph). Don’t get me wrong; I love their old stop-motion puppetry and sentimental fairytales, and they often mentioned with reverence the Birth of Jesus. I mention them just to illustrate how easily the real message can be buried, with or without malice.
So, just in case we still need to hear the REAL story, here it is
Some people still believe.

One Short Year December 7, 2011

The RNC is already convinced that the current resident is going to win re-election, and rather than oppose him, they’ll hop onto the “winning” side now, and hope that they don’t lose their cushy, secure positions of little power. Please, somebody, take the names of these gutless wonders. And remember who they are, because every last one of them needs to be kicked out of Washington with little ceremony beyond the most basic — something along the lines of a rail, some tar, and a bunch of feathers.
The upcoming campaign is going to be ugly. It is going to be the dirtiest and ugliest campaign ever waged in America, and rightly so, for it is also the most desperate. Never before have the two sides been more diametrically opposed; never before have the goals of the two sides been more widely divergent.
But, unfortunately, we have, somewhere in the mushy middle, the squishy RINO establishment Republicans, who have come out and told us that we must not say mean things about the current resident. I don’t know what they are hoping to accomplish with this “strategy.”
Any of these people who claims to be a “Republican” and yet refuses to oppose this illegal and criminal enterprise are not only lying to themselves, they are telling the rest of us exactly what kind of person they are — someone without the courage of their own convictions; someone too weak to oppose or fight against the powers that be. They are publicly showing the rest of the country their cowardly and selfish positions. They want more money, more power, and more influence, and if they have to suck up to the marxists and go along to get along, they will do it. Do not trust these people with anything you value, especially your votes.
The RNC is already convinced that the current resident is going to win re-election, and rather than oppose him, they’ll hop onto the “winning” side now, and hope that they don’t lose their cushy, secure positions of little power. And remember who they are, because every last one of them needs to be kicked out of Washington with little ceremony beyond the most basic — something along the lines of a rail, some tar, and a bunch of feathers.
The media establishment deserves special mention here, as well. They have openly admitted their preference for the current resident’s policies, and that tells us one thing: They are as doctrinaire and dedicated in their marxism as their masters in washington. They must be defeated at every turn. Taking back the dialogue is one of the most important things we can do.
Wrenching our nation’s government out of the hands of the usurpers and marxists is the order of the day from now on, and all of us are being drafted into the army that must stand up and fight back to protect the principles and freedoms of the Constitution and the rule of law. The wimpy, wishy-washy position of the establishment RINOs has brought us to this horrific, unthinkable position in barely three years. Too bad there’s no prison term for this kind of cowardice.
The current resident gave a vicious speech in Kansas on December 6, daring true Conservatives to stand against him. In his typical tactics, he used rhetoric to turn one group against another in a bold attempt to stir up even more class warfare than has already been brought about by him and his flying monkeys. His new target is the middle class, the working stiffs still working who are forced to pay for all his destruction.
It’s only going to become more difficult from now on. The usurpations, regulations, and profligate spending on his supporters are going to continue, and for as desperate as we are on the Right, they are more so. They have the high ground for now, and are hanging on for dear life. Our job couldn’t be more clear.
We have one year: One year in which to restore to our descendants their patrimony. One short year.
A Tangled Web December 6, 2011

“Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive…”
With the collapse of Solyndra (and the sleazy, slimy financial double-dealing going on between them and the WH), the first thing that crossed my mind when I read this article by J.R. Dunn was my own earlier article, Watermelonism, which refers to a PREVIOUS article on the same subject. Note the date of the article, and see that this has been the biggest coverup since watergate. There have been several other “green company” scandals since Solyndra, too. Just more top-of-the-line product from the Slime Factory in the hallowed halls of government.
It’s not so much that there are green scandals in Washington, it’s that the permanent political class (Sarah Palin’s appropo title) goes to such lengths to cover up their sleaze. There is so much to despise about the current political situation in Washington. Now, I’m listening to Rush Limbaugh and he is tying the Chevy Volt (read: Government Motors) fires to the Corzine scandal and making it stick, making sense, and, if possible removing any doubt in my mind that the current administration and its entire cast of sleazy characters is a criminal enterprise (among other things). Two questions: 1) Is there any sleaze, any illegal act, any underhanded dealing to which this bunch will NOT stoop? 2) Just how stupid do they think we are??
