You don’t necessarily have to be hoping Sarah Palin runs for President to understand that a lot of the hype is not of her own doing, but strictly a product of the people around her, pro or con.
Those who support her enjoy reading about her but don’t generate the kind of twisted “logic” that saturates the news items about her generated by the left. They ramp up their own frenzy over her every word or gesture, and make it clear everywhere that she hasn’t the chance of a snowball in hell of ever being more than just a cute housewife from Wasilla who loves her political hobby. The funny part of all this is that it is basically how she views herself. She doesn’t see herself as a “mover and shaker,” but enjoys tweaking the leftist media and putting words and phrases out there for them to jump on and decry while she goes about her business.
The leftist media complain about how she is always in the news, that every move, word, or tweet is picked up and blared to the world. But they forget their own part in all of this. It’s interesting to see BDS transformed into PDS by the mainstream talking heads and pundits, but, there it is, in so many words, in black and white, almost as if they can’t help themselves. They see her name and pounce. It’s a conditioned reflex.
Most people read an article about Sarah Palin, and it takes no more than a quick skim to tell them whether or not the article will be favorable to her, and they make their decision then to continue reading or not. The television shows, apparently, have a bit more of a project before them for hiding their personal feelings, or presenting a neutral and interesting segment.
I’ve wondered on occasion whether we should tell them we notice that they are generating all of their own hype over Sarah Palin. Then I think, “Naw…I think I’ll just let them keep poking themselves in the eye…”
In the meantime, most people in the country will form their own opinions, while the leftist media continues to run in circles over every move from Sarah’s neck of the woods. If she has a media team, it’s a very small one. I see instead her tweets and facebook posts, an occasional public speaking engagement, two books and a television show, and a spokesman. Here in Alaska, the only news we have about Sarah Palin is from Outside (or from democrat operatives in Anchorage). Alaskans are not obsessed with her, and are satisfied to let her go about her life. Interesting..
I think she is one of those sort of “unconscious” beauties, no matter what she does, she looks good. Even when she was wearing chest waders and an old baseball cap. The left can’t abide women without the old feminista axes to grind. It is a really serious case of JEALOUSY. Sex. Brains. Conviction. Popularity. Ability. Man, there’s a lot to hate there for a lefty.

I strongly suspect that one reason the Left is so wound up over Sarah is that she obviously knows that sex sells, and she uses it. They simply have nothing comparable to counter with and as long as she does not make a complete fool of herself, she is going to go very far on her looks alone. Pictures like the one you have posted support this perception quite strongly, I think.
