Watts Up With That has more good info re “gorbal warming.” This turned up in their comments section, and is worth reading to the end. A quote:
Prof. McCarthy is, of course, part of the IPCC that has suppressed dissenting viewpoints based on solid climate science. His claim to support by “peer review” is nonsense; he has helped corrupt the peer review process. We now have documentary evidence that Jones, Mann, and the other IPCC scientists have been gaming peer review and blackballing opponents. On this point, the entire IPCC staff, including Prof. McCarthy, neither have nor deserve our trust.

It seems reasonable that the Left most certainly has not given up on the heath care bill. The instant that they think they can pass it, I’m sure that they will strike. I think also, however, that more of those slimy politicians will be thinking about their own futures. They will know that voting for Obamacare is the final nail in the coffins for their careers in DC.
I lived two years in Houston back in the mid-1970s, and I don’t think it was ever below about 40 degrees. Snow would be simply unthinkable there.

Yah, 13 is cool compared to what it was a few days ago. We had 40 here for a couple of days. This is supposed to be one of the colder nights this week.
I’ve been to Houston in February. Muggy, hot, and uncomfortable. The last thing I would expect there would be snow.
While we’re all talking about the hoax of the century, I wonder what’s going on with the “health” care bill. Anybody seen it lately?
Snow like that in Houston will be taken as proof positive of AGW. What else could possibly explain such bizarre happenings?
